Western Regional Sales Manager

SUMMARY:
Manage sales activities of the Western region territory by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is a technical sales position. First and foremost, candidate must demonstrate the ability to understand the requirements of potential customer’s technical needs and work with a team to deliver a solution to meet those needs. A background in broadcast/mechanical/electrical engineering and/or previous technical sales experience is highly preferred.
Works with VP of Sales to coordinate Western region activities. Visits potential and existing dealers/customers within the assigned territory on a regular basis to assess needs, provide product and system recommendations. Attend and support trade shows and meetings in the defined territory as well as pertinent national shows. Develop and achieve order intake within the guidelines of the corporate plan or territory quota. Provide management with the information necessary to adequately forecast potential business within the assigned territory. Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition. Reports travel activity within the territory.
Develops and implements strategic sales plans to help meet corporate goals within the territory such as the use of Dealers, System Integrators, and Sales Representatives. Directs the training and coordinates sales among these partners by establishing sales territories and goals. Assist the partners as required to establish and maintain customer relationships, help make sales presentations, and to negotiate and close business.

The Regional Sales Manger must be enthusiastic and be able to convey this to customers. The ability to engage with confidence, listen, and question, as well as having a sense of urgency in response and request to customers is key. An understanding of workflow within the TV/M&E industry and how our equipment fits in is essential.
TRAVEL:
Travel expectations for this job are 50%.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry and/or sales technical sales. Multiple years of success in Broadcast Sales (direct and with channel partners) means you’re a strong candidate. Individual should be self-driven, requiring little direct supervision. Must be familiar with the territorial customer base and marketplace. Residence in the region is preferred. Must be proficient in the upkeep of CRM database, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint applications.
ACCOUNTABILITY:
This is a high-paying position with the potential for advancement, and with that comes a lot of responsibility for order intake and forecasting of potential business with the assigned territory. Timely expense and activity reports, maintaining expenditures within approved budget. CRM input and monitoring is required. Achieve a high level of customer satisfaction within the assigned territory.

Electronics Technician (Jr. to Tech I)

Education and/or Experience:
Entry-level position requires High School Diploma and/or Electronic Courses/ Preferred 5 yrs. experience in a similar field.
Reports to:
Manufacturing Supervisor
Required Skills
Good troubleshooting skills to the component level.
Ability to interpret electrical schematics
General knowledge of basic test equipment: VOMs, O’scopes, etc…
Soldering of general and fine pitch electronic components.
Mechanical assembly.
General PC experience. (MS Office, MIS systems).
Job Duties
Receives wiring diagrams, drawings, specifications, and instructions, either verbally or in writing, concerning testing and repairing to be performed.
Plans and performs work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical and electronic theory and principles, wiring specifications and application of electronic equipment.
Services and tests electronic equipment by checking, testing and replacing faulty components, circuit boards, and similar electronic devices.
Informs group leader or supervisor of potentially dangerous electrical equipment and corrective actions taken.
Possible Positions Available:
Jr. Tech:
Performs equipment setup for subassembly acceptance tests.
Pretest/Sample test non-complex, high-volume subassemblies. (Does not include repair)
Performs repetitive calibration procedures on assemblies
Tech I:
Performs Analog or Digital Audio or Video System Level testing.
Board level troubleshooting.
Light component level troubleshooting and repair.

Embedded Software Engineer

Position available is Entry-level to Senior-level Software Engineer. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. The right candidate will be given the opportunity to grow.
Required Education:
A bachelor’s degree in a related area and 4-6 yrs of experience in the field or a related area is a must.
Job Duties:
• Design, develop, test, and deploy real-time embedded control systems in a distributed environment. Communications and control done over various network communications protocols.
• Some windows application development GNU C, Visual Studio.
o Languages C/C++/C#.
• Some QT application development on Windows, Linux, Mac, IOS, and Android.
• Maintenance of existing windows applications is required.
Reports to: VP Engineering
Required Skills:
• C/C++ development experience.
• Embedded System software development
• Network Socket communications experience.
Bonus Skill Set:
• Experience in the Broadcast Telecommunications Industry is a plus.
• QT Development experience.
• Embedded Linux experience.
• Embedded real-time control design and implementation experience over network and serial connections.
• Web development (HTML-5) and Javascript experience.
• SNMP experience.
• IOS and Android experience.
