UT400 Gateway Router

The Utah Scientific UTAH-400 Series 2 Gateway Router is a game-changer for broadcasters navigating the complex transition from traditional SDI to SMPTE ST 2110 IP environments. This all-in-one solution utilizes a unique hybrid architecture that integrates IP conversion directly into the router frame via Utah Scientific’s innovative PassThrough cards.

By embedding gateway functionality within the SDI routing fabric, the system provides an SDI safety net. If the IP control system or network fabric encounters a disruption, critical feeds remain live through the dedicated SDI path. This eliminates the point-of-failure risk inherent in all-IP setups, making it ideal insurance for mission-critical broadcasts. The Gateway Router’s design supports massive scalability while consuming significantly less power than external standalone gateways.

Backed by the industry’s only no-fee 10-year warranty, the Gateway Router offers long-term value and technical reliability.
